This is one of our favorite projects, a complete renovation of a classic that had fallen into disrepair. We found photos of the house taken in the 1940's in the Springfield City Hall and restored it to its original beauty. Note the restored molding over the porch and the accurately detailed columns.

One of the first panelized pre-fab offerings, this Tech Built house was built in the 1950‘s when home heating oil was 18 cents a gallon and climate change was unimaginable. In 1991 Innovative Building did a top to bottom renovation replacing all the single pane windows with Low E Argon Marvin windows. The cathedral roofs were reconfigured to attain an insulation value tens times what it had been. A passive solar sun room and roof deck were added, as well as a garage with a storage room above.

Quality Homes and Renovations in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts
This early 19th century farmhouse stood empty for almost a decade before the owners called Innovative to make it into their new home. Redone from top to bottom and conforming to the newer Stretch Code energy standards, this home features a new master bedroom suite and a state of the art kitchen. We look forward to seeing the fifty acre parcel become a working farm once again.
